The Ultimate Article Marketing Revenue Sharing System

June 19th, 2008 · No Comments

AdSpace articles is a new concept in , which gives full control over the ad space in the articles to the article author. This benefits them in 2 ways.

1. The most obvious, they take all the money generated from the ad space directly. Having full control over the ad space, authors can even sell space within their articles privately.

The main business model of any or “group content” site relies mainly on the revenue from ad space. Many sites are willing to share this revenue with the authors, but only one site (that I know of) gives full control over the ad space to the author… And ALL the revenue!

2. A less obvious benefit to the AdSpace articles model is the “elimination” of competing ads in your content. This is usually the biggest drawback of article marketing to the author. They submit their articles to other sites and within their content are targeted ads.

Yes TARGETED ads, unless you are PAYING to , those ads within your content will no doubt be promoting your competitions website. Your hard work is making sales for them! Sure you might be getting a piece of the pie if the site is sharing revenue with you, but it’s nothing compared to the money you would have made if the ad was making sales for you… or if you were the “broker” selling the traffic.

AdSpace articles give you full control over what does and what does not appear along side your content. You can even remove the ads completely if you so wish.

Article Marketing – Don’t Do This

June 6th, 2008 · No Comments

By Randy Wood

Article marketing is one of the primary marketing tactics alive today. The best part about marketing with articles is that it is easy to do and it is very effective done properly.

That is what I want to talk about, Article Marketing done properly…

I own and operate Article Bay Home, a word press blog article directory. I also use article marketing to promote myself online.

As I see people submit articles throughout the web, whether they are in directories, social networking sites, or where ever, I am seeing a trend that is causing a lot of peoples efforts to be wasted. If we are going to spend our valuable time developing strategies and writing articles, we want to get the most value out of our time and effort.

Make your marketing campaign successful by being aware of some of the most common mistakes made. Don't do this.

Unedited PLR Articles

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with PLR Articles, submitting them without editing them is not good practice. Many people will submit a plr article just as they received it. The problem you will run into is article directories, in most cases, do not allow duplicate content. You risk your submission being deleted, or your membership banned. Is it worth it? No… Edit your article and put it in your own words. After all, you are the professional.

Too Many Too Fast

Slow down! Be patient. Stop writing an article and then submitting it to numerous directories at once. So many people do this and they shouldn't. Doing this so quickly will cause a spike in your back links. This spike can be seen by the spiders as they pass through the web and they can mark these back links as questionable. All back links don't come from just directories any way, they will also come from those looking for good content for their websites. Webmasters search for good content. So take it slow and easy and let the webmasters help build your back links for you.

Automated Duplicate Content Software

Duplicate content software is great to use, however, automatic software can leave your article making no sense and unprofessional. You are a professional and you want your information displayed in a legible and professional manner. Go ahead and use automated duplicate content software spinners as much as you like, just do yourself a favor and go back and insure the quality of your content. Spelling and grammar go a long way. The best way to do this is to do it yourself.

Duplicate Content Same Site

Don't submit the same article to the same directory or social network. Need I say more?

Affiliate Links – Spam

Article directories and its readers do not want to be spammed! Do not submit an advertisement as an article. Advertisements have there own place. Article Directories are just that, a place to submit stories, news, educational information, reviews and more. Submitting this information loaded with affiliate links is against most directories policies. Doing so can get you banned from submitting your information. You can also create a bad name for yourself to your peers. Don't take that chance.

Poor Grammar and Spelling

If you are submitting articles, even just one, that makes you an author. Your article submissions go a long way in not only bringing traffic to your websites and publications, but also as branding your name with authority. Insuring that your work is well written and clean with correct grammar and spelling enhances your readers desire to continue with you. A poor grammatically written article can surely detour your readers and detour webmasters from using your articles as content reducing back links for you. Be a professional, write with authority.

Poor Content

In writing an article, if is important that you use content that is informative to your readers. Your readers will be reading your articles for multiple reasons. They may be looking for information to learn from. They may just enjoy reading about certain things or they may be looking for quality content to use on their own websites. It really doesn't matter why your readers are reading your content, if you do not know what you are talking about, or your work is poorly put together, you may loose some or all of your readers. That would be devastating. Know what you want to say, research it to know it and display and portray it well. You will have readers that come back for more!

Putting The Service Back In Customer Service

May 20th, 2008 · No Comments

By Sean Cohen

The future of customer service is here. Technology has made seeking out support faster and easier than ever. But, has your digital age company sacrificed true service in the name of automation?

Today, finding customer support is as simple as writing an e-mail or picking up the phone. But, even though you’re not face-to-face with your customers, you still leave a lasting impression. Do you come across as caring and competent, or menacing and mechanical?

Offering stand-out service on the Internet isn’t as hard as it is rare. Take these simple steps towards old-style service in the digital age:

Give Each Customer a Personal Response
    Be Clear, But Sincere
    Offer Live Customer Support
Make Sure Your Support Reps Have All the Answers

Give Each Customer a Personal Response

When a customer sits down to e-mail your company, it’s because he needs help. He chooses e-mail because it’s quick, but his request still warrants a satisfying and personal response!Companies eager to save time and money often take automation too far in their customer support. Each customer has a unique question, and deserves a unique answer. Even if you save time by copying and pasting stock replies, change the opening and closing to make the message sound less robotic.

Be Clear, But Sincere

When responding to customers’ e-mail, be sincere and to the point. Before sending a message, try turning the tables. Ask yourself, “Would this answer satisfy me if I were the customer?”Take that extra moment to give your customer the help he deserves. It might mean the difference between a satisfied customer and a credit card chargeback!

Offer Live Customer Support

E-mail has become an acceptable form of communication. But, live customer support is still necessary. The plethora of information available online can be overwhelming to customers, especially those new to the Internet!Single your company out from the crowd by providing customers with a real person to talk to. Live phone support is an invaluable way to foster trust. When your customer has reached the end of his Internet rope, and just needs help, your toll free number is the answer he’s looking for.

Make Sure Your Support Reps Have All The Answers

The presence of phone support will do no good if your staff doesn’t know your product! Customer support reps should be warm and friendly, and willing to help with any aspect of your product. What a good feeling it is to talk to someone who feels confident in his product. It’s even better if he’s knowledgeable enough to solve your problem without transferring you all around the company!

Provide Stand-Out Service; Gain Lifelong Customers

Too many e-businesses skimp on customer service, hiding behind web sites and message boards. Customer support is an integral part of every company, even those operating solely online. Be one of the few to offer stellar service, and gain customers for life!

Customer Service is becoming a lost art, but Sean Cohen wants to make sure that never happens at AWeber Communications! Find out what service is meant to be.

Keyword Research for Article Marketing

May 10th, 2008 · No Comments

It's really important when writing articles for your article marketing to make sure you've included appropriate and relevant keywords.

You'd be surprised at how many authors write articles but fail to do any keyword research whatsoever.

If your article doesn't have suitable keywords relevant to your article's subject it's unlikely to be picked up by search engines like Google for real people to find when they search online.

If you're not sure why keyword research is necessary then you'll find this article really helpful as it's purpose is to look at how keywords are recognised by Google.

For example lets consider the keyword «Article Marketing». You'll notice it's in the heading of this article, the first paragraph and also used elsewhere in the article.

As an exercise I'd like you to go to the main page of Google and enter the keyword «article marketing» in QUOTATION MARKS into the search box. It's important to put your keyword in «QUOTATION MARKS» as it keeps all the words in your keyword together making sure they're searched for together rather that getting results for each word separately.

When I did a Google search for the keyword «article marketing» the results showed there are 4,160,000 different websites displaying this keyword. What did you get when you ran this search?

Perhaps your immediate response was... FOUR MILLION COMPETITORS... it's not worth my while trying to compete with that many for the keyword «article marketing».

But, what if I was to tell you that all is not as it seems?

Supposing I was to tell you that you only have 897 competitors (number shown in Google at the time of writing this article).

As an author producing articles for article marketing... Do you think you can do better than 897 competitors to get your article ranking highly in the search engines for such a popular keyword? I bet you do.

But, I need to prove to you that you only have 897 competitors before you'll believe me... Right?

Here's what you do.

Close down all your browser windows... and then open a browser showing the Google main page.

To the right of the Google search box you'll see three links... Advanced Search, Preferences and Language Tools... Click on preferences.

In the Google search engine the default setting for each page is set to show 10 search results on each page. But inside 'preferences' there is the option to change «The Number of Results per page» in a drop down menu to 20, 30, 50 or 100.

Select «100» from the drop down menu and click «Save Preferences»

You'll now be able to view 100 search results on each page instead of the standard 10.

Type your keyword «article marketing» in «QUOTATION MARKS» into the search box and click on 'Google Search'.

Notice in the top right side of your page the results will read «Results 1-100 of about 4,160.000».

Scroll right down to the bottom of the page until you see the «Goooooooooogle» sign with page numbers 1 thru 10 shown underneath each of the «o's» in the word Goooooooooogle.

Click on «10» taking you to the very end of the available 1,000 search results from Google.

When I did this at the time of writing this article the very last item was this...

* »In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 897 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.»

What does your's say?

So, as an author writing articles on article marketing do you think you can structure your articles skillfully enough to be included as one of Google's «Most relevant results» and them compete against only 897 competitors... not 4,160,000 to get a high ranking in the search engines?

That's why keyword research and structuring your articles to make full use of your keywords is so important.

Dave Mackay encourages you to submit your articles by going to Article Content King. Eager publishers are waiting to use your articles on their blog or website with your links and content unchanged allowing you to earn money from your sales so you can improve the quality of your life.
